“The hotel generally provided a satisfactory experience; however, the advertised high-speed internet service delivered only 3-4 megabits, which is insufficient for basic browsing. Aside from this, all other aspects were excellent.”
“Excellent service and interactions with the staff over our two day stay. The layout of the property at first was a little confusing, but it’s a small town, so easy to figure out. We were in a building two blocks up from the main hotel. Good parking, great location, plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Coffee and breakfast provided in the mornings, in both the main and upper buildings. Laundromat available also on site both areas. Very clean and obviously well managed property. Highly recommend if you are spending a few days in Gardiner!”
“There was a mix up with our reservation, the cabins were over booked. However, the manager made it right by putting us in 2 rooms with a discounted rate. Everyone was super nice and helpful. We especially enjoyed the pastries, cereal, and coffee. The rooms are in separate buildings and it seems a little weird because you drive up a hill way behind the office building into smaller parking lots and buildings. However, the rooms are really nice and the view is amazing!”
“• Cleanliness: Frequently described as “very clean”, with an average rating between 9.2 and 9.6/10. • Location & Accessibility: Excellent location, very close to the Yellowstone National Park entrance, making access easy and convenient. • Staff Service: Many reviews mention friendly front desk staff and efficient check-in/check-out procedures. • Rooms & Beds: Guests often say the beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. • Breakfast: Basic continental breakfast (mainly coffee and pastries). Some guests found it a bit minimal. ⸻ Checkpoints • Check-in: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM • Check-out: by 10:00 AM • Parking: Free self-parking available • Pets: Not allowed (service animals only) • Elevator: No elevator – stairs required for upper floors ⸻ Why We Recommend It 1. Close to the Park Entrance – Perfect for early morning Yellowstone exploration. 2. Scenic Views – Great for enjoying nature right from your room. 3. Clean & Comfortable – Well-maintained rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly service. 4. Cabin Options Available – Ideal for families or longer stays; includes kitchen facilities. ⸻ Booking Tips • Cabin vs. Room: For families or those who need a kitchen, go for a cabin. For couples or solo travelers, a Queen or King room is more than enough. • Breakfast: Since the complimentary breakfast is quite basic, consider bringing your own food or visiting nearby cafés. • Book Early: Summer and weekends get booked fast – make reservations as early as possible!”
“We found this beautiful hotel while eating at The Spot restaurant down the road. There was a nice brochure about the hotel with special price and even a map of the area. After eating we drove to the hotel which was 1 minute down the road. It was March during the slow season abd after hours around 8pm. When we arrived the front office was closed. There was a sign to call a number to reach someone. We tried booking the special offer online but the discount code no longer worked. So we called the number and Greg told us he would be right down. Greg arrived pretty quickly and got us booked with the discount. Told us about the area and the hotel. He is such a cool guy. Also gave us info on available wolf guide and tour guides. The lobby is super clean with nice Roosevelt merchandise. There is a nice small snack n breakfast room connected to the lobby. With cereal, fruit, drinks etc. We gotvroo. 2103 which is the first unit next to the main building facing tge mountain. The view from the front patio is anazing. It faces the mountain where there are elk grazing almost all day. Amazing view. The special deal we book included binoculars. Which was so cool because they were great binoculars and allowed us to see so many animals way better. The single queen bed room is the perfect size. The room is super clean. Bathroom has separate heater to keep the floor warm in the winter. Has a small fridge which came in handy. A TV, one tall dresser for clothes and a smaller short dresser for addition items. Also a small corner open closet for clothes. It didnt feel like a hotel. Felt like staying at someones home. Bed is super comfy and absolutely no bugs at all. This particular room does have one window but there is no clear view of the mountain from that window. The front entrance to the room has a shared patio with two other rooms and thats where you have the amazing view of the mountains. The patio also has chairs, for taking in the views. The next morning we were supposed to check out but we knew we would be at Yellowstone all day. So we decided to extend our stay one more day. We walked to the lobby and there was a nice lady there. That was able to extend our stay for us. We grabbed some fruit n coffee and headed to Yellowstone. We spent all day at Yellowstone and had such a great time. The binoculars that were included with our special promo. Came in handy and allowed us to see so many cool animals that were too far to see the details without the binoculars. If you dont have binoculars I would recommended renting them from the hotel. If there is another deal where they are included, even better. We got back after a long day and enjoyed the peace and quiet n slept good. When exiting the property. It sits right at the bottom of a huge mountain. So u will see lots of deer and elk from the front view and back view. The Roosevelt hotel is prime location and literally a 5 min drive to Yellowstone entrance. Walking distance to literally every place on the main strip of the town. Its newly renovated, super clean, quite, and friendly staff. It appears to be the nicest hotel in Gardiner. Honestly dont waste your time looking at any other hotels. Just book Roosevelt Hotel - Yellowstone, you wont regret it.”
